At Oak Hill, we love children. They are the future of our church and its ministries. We are committed to each of them coming to know Christ personally and encouraging their families. There are Sunday School classes for all ages taught by committed and caring members. Sherry Sanders teaches the younger children and Linda Holloway teaches the older children. Dorothy Walters takes care of our nursery. Our children participate in many events throughout the year that are designed to expose them to Biblical truths and fun. There is the back to school zoo trip, the Fall Festival and Hay ride, the annual Easter Egg hunt and party, various pizza and ice cream parties, and other activities.
Denise McGaha leads the children each Sunday morning in the worship service with a children's message. Linda Holloway offers Bible Drills for our older children. This past year, Luke Holloway was a State Bible Drill winner. Our children participate in the Annual Hanging of the Greens service each December and do such a wonderful job leading us in worship. This past December, they also participated in a Christmas play partly written by Luke Holloway.
